|| Each student gets a Brooklyn Tech email address. Registration information is provided at the beginning of the school year. Tech email is the primary mode of communication to students and should be checked regularly.
Students have the option of using Tech email or having it forwarded to their email of preference.
After graduation Tech email addresses will continue to be used by the Brooklyn Tech Alumni Foundation to stay in touch with students.
||Skedula (Pupil Path) is used by the faculty to record and communicate student academic performance. Student grades on homework, in class assignments, examinations and formal assessments, cumulative grades, transcript records, and other information are available. Students are given basic instruction for Pupil Path in their 9th grade technology class.|
| Moodle is a content management system used by numerous teachers at Tech to support classroom instruction. Assignments may be posted and/or collected electronically, documents will be made available as resources, and the system may be used to assess student learning. Teachers provide students with Moodle login information.
||Naviance is used mostly by the Guidance staff and College Office team to support students as they navigate the college application and financial aid processes. Students are given basic instruction for Naviance in their 9th grade technology class.|
||Used primarily by the Physics Department, U-Texas Quest Learning provides an online dynamic homework system which randomizes variables in homework problem sets to provide a forum for 21st century collaborative learning. There are also members of the Math and Chemistry Departments using the Quest system. Teachers provide students with Quest login information.|
As a general rule all students username are generated as follows:
a students first initial, last name and the last 4 digits of your 9 digit OSIS#.
Passwords are case sensitive and should be kept in a secure location,
not given out or shared with friends, and changed regularly. (To assure security)
